AV Aid is a comprehensive set of tools designed to enhance the capabilities of Audio Visual technicians. The app offers convenient features for connecting devices to projectors or flatscreen monitors, such as detecting and displaying all available output resolutions, including 4K. With AV Aid, technicians can easily select custom resolutions and generate color bars or mirror test patterns.

In addition to its extensive audio test generator, which includes various tests like left, right, center, phase test, pink noise, white noise, sweep, and more, AV Aid also allows users to designate their own custom test song from their music library or via Apple Music. Notably, the app now includes a Dolby 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound test using enhanced AC-3 encoding (ec-7).

AV Aid offers several other useful features for AV professionals, such as a flashlight, IR detector, TRS and XLR connectors reference, CAT-5 Pinout reference, cable connector resource guide, and troubleshooting tips for Audio Visual systems. Moreover, the latest update has introduced a full-screen front and back camera view which enables users to utilize their mobile devices as document cameras during online meetings.
